Desny, Maison – Two former, entrepreneurial, circus artists (Mr. Desnet and René Nauny) started their firm in 1927. They made a diversity of objects but are best known for their Modernist lighting designs. Executed in geometrical metal forms in combination with glass. Many architects/designers of the period designed for their firm, amongst who we find Robert Mallet Stevens. These two lamps are rare and sought after. The metal caps can be placed in any direction. H.: 36 cms. Width: 17 cms. Depth: 12 cms. Period: 1927-1933. Condition: Good, considering age.
