Wijdeveld, H. Th. (1885-1987), An art deco armchair for the Roelof Citroen jewelry store in (Kalverstraat 1) Amsterdam. Wijdeveld also designed the apartment above the jewelry store. A total of four chairs are known, two of which in the collection of the “Amsterdam Museum”. Carved wood (teak) armchair with floral decorated backrest and armrests. New upholstered seat in black velvet. Executed at Büchenbacher in Berlin. Height: 80 cms., Depth: 50 cms, Width: 57 cms. Condition: Good considering age.
