Follot, Paul (1877-1941) – A sofa set in sculpted fruitwood by Paul Follot. The, newly upholstered, set has sculpted open worked decorations on the side of fruit/flower baskets. Follot was a French designer of luxury furniture and many decorative objects. He was one of the leaders of the French Art Deco movement and had a strong influence on other designers. After the first World War he became head of “Pomone”, the art atelier of the warehouse “Le bon marché”. The set is in excellent condition. Measurements sofa: Height: 0,96 cms.(highest point), width: 1.70 m. depth: 0,70 cms. Chairs: Height: 0,80 cms. Width: 63 cms. Depth: 56 cms.
